Overview
The ESP32 Development Board (ESP-WROOM-32 / DevKit V1) is a low-cost, low-power system-on-a-chip (SoC) microcontroller unit developed by Espressif Systems. It integrates dual-mode Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth (v4.2 BR/EDR & BLE) connectivity, making it an industry standard for Internet of Things (IoT) applications, smart home systems, wearable electronics, and embedded robotics.
The board features a high-performance Tensilica Xtensa 32-bit LX6 dual-core processor operating at up to 240 MHz, onboard PCB antenna, CP2102/CH340 USB-to-UART bridge for direct programming via Micro-USB, AMS1117 3.3V voltage regulator, and dual onboard push buttons (EN/Reset and BOOT).
